  1. I've done the flight test, fantastic speed .. incredible.

It will be a model for people with a lot of practice, is a little unstable with wind as it was today.

This can be offset if you set up a higher drift.

I'll make some adjustments in the model (the battery box and wings).
    And this finished!

  2. I will post some pictures today.
The model is not finished, just have fiberglass wings.
I'll make a new model, then the plan will be finished and available for anyone interested.

  3. Hi guys I will do one more test flight with my prototype "SPEED.fun D1"

I made some changes to the ailerons and the battery box.
This thing is very fast, I will have to be very careful with the wind.

    Setup is: "E-flite BL15 DF 3600Kv, 5x5 prop, ESC: 85A, 4S 2250"

I'll try to make a movie of the flight test.

  4. I forgot to say that this thing weighs only 480g!
If everything is well with the test flight will leave the plans on my blog to DOWNLOAD.

  5. Hi guys, I'm back from the beach with the "SPEED.fun D1"
Again a flight very radical, very .. very windy.
This model is crazy, fantastic speed.
I could not do the movie because he was alone.

I decided to do some more changes to the model, I use the same method used to mount the "SPEED.fun D2", the wings are made with only two parties (the two wings are cut and assembled as a single piece).
This will create more consistency in the model structure and it will be possible to make the model only with a sheet of depron of 1200x800 and the engine will stay cooler because the mount is so similar F27 Stryker.

  14. Hallo!

    You're building attractive models.

I'd like to ask some questions.
-Can you define COG in percents?
-Is it proper to build the wing vith no washout -Are ailerons inline wih bottom plane of the wing in normal flight?
-How far does two tubes in fuselage reach?

It's all because me and my friends built similar model out of 'styrofoam'. It had semi-symmetrical profile, no washout, COG at 10% and fuse long as your model does. But we couldn't trim it out to fly stable. It also needed lots of up elevator to stay in the air.

I had some problems with CG;but the real problem is that this plane needs some angle(2°) for the motor (sorry for my english).
My new CG is 25cm (26cm for you)
You can see my problem on these new videos(now it's ok with more angle for motor mount....
